Throughout the UK, throughout Edinburgh, even in my local area, flags are being flown at half mast as a mark of respect. The attacks in America have rocked the World, and there isn't one community that hasn't been angered, touched, or profoundly dissillusioned by the pointless destruction and complete disregard for human life.
On the personal side of things, although of minute significance in comparrison, this is my second last day in Edinburgh.
